The Opera ShopThe Opera Shop is proud to sell several unique items specially designed for the shop, along with souvenirs signed by the biggest names in the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, and a great selection of books, CDs, DVDs, and other products. The Shop is located opposite the Finnish National Opera's Ticket Sales in the lower lobby of the building, easily accessible from the Töölö Bay entrance. The Opera Shop is open anytime Ticket Sales is open, in addition to before and after performances and during intermissions.
Interval refreshmentsKanresta Opera restaurants provides a wide range of catering services to all visitors to the Opera House, with a personal and high-quality touch. Food, drink, facilities and good service are on the menu.
Coat check services and lost propertyYou are welcome to leave your outer garments at the Opera coat check points, where they will be monitored for the duration of the performance for free. Backpacks, larger bags and suitcases must also be checked. It is forbidden to bring food or beverages into the auditoriums.
Inquiries about lost property can be made at the FNO information desk found in the foyer facing the Töölö Bay, open Monday-Friday 9–18, tel. (09) 4030 2306. Every two weeks the lost property that has been found on the premises is delivered to Finland's Found Property Service.
SurtitlingAccording to international practice, most operas are performed in the original language. The Opera has a surtitling screen where Finnish, Swedish and English translations of the text are projected during the performances.
Access informationThe auditoriums of the main stage and Almi Hall are provided with wheelchair spaces and the parking lot on the Töölönlahti side is intended for disabled parking. An induction loop covers part of the main stage auditorium. Read more about our accessibility services.
House toursTake a peek in behind the scenes on a guided tour! The tours are arranged mainly in Finnish, but you can book yourself a guided tour in another language as well.
