Winter Ball

Come enjoy outdoor dancing to live music in the magical atmosphere of the Opera House piazza (along Mannerheimintie). The programme will include an introductory fanfare, a ballet performance and singing group Virtuoso. Matti Salminen, Johanna Rusanen-Kartano, Jyrki Anttila and Mika Pohjonen, among others, will sing as dance orchestra´s soloists. 10-15 performers will dress in splendid costumes and move about, encouraging the audience to actively participate. Sami Saikkonen and Lilli Paasikivi will act as the event's host and hostess.
