Don Quixote

Patrice Bart

Don Quixote is a major classical ballet. Transporting the audience from wintry Finland to sunny Spain, it is a celebration of handsome staging and virtuoso numbers that captivates every time. No wonder that its performances are always sold out!

Don Quixote, the Knight of the Sad Countenance, and his stout servant Sancho Panza arrive at a Castilian village just as chivalrous aid is needed. The lovely Kitri is being married off to Camacho, even though she is in love with the impoverished Basilio. A high-speed chase ensues, and in the middle of it all Don Quixote imagines he sees his adored Dulcinea in Kitri.

Tickets for the spring season performances available from 6 Oct 2014.
