Sublime Émilie

The scientific community and general audiences will have a chance to learn about Émilie's unique life and work on the eve of the premiere of the opera. A group of international researchers and artists who share an interest in her story will come together for a series of lectures, discussions and music performances.



In Kaija Saariaho's opera, Émilie du Châtelet, an exceptional woman facing conflicting expectations, will be played by the wonderful Camilla Nylund.
